We loved this staying. It was spotless with amiable and helpful staff. The location was absolutely perfect, near Fnac.
Unfortunately Wi-Fi signal was very weak.

got tidy twin room on their hand written book when arrived, loved that. the location was unbeatable, near a grand boulevard. it took us 5 minutes on foot to get to the downtown.
Didn't like the staff, some of them were very very bad.

The location puts you right on the busy Gran Via, ideal for exploring. Rooms are cleaned daily with fresh towels and essential toiletries provided.
The thin walls lead to significant noise from street traffic. The bathrooms are cramped, with sliding doors that leave little to the imagination in terms of privacy.

It was spotless and the staff were friendly, beds were comfortable. Queen room was spacious. A bathtub in the private bathroom was a plus. It was in an excellent location right next to a large urban plaza. Liked our stay at the hotel and will come back...

The location and connections were good. WiFi available in some rooms (not in all, ask in reception for availability). Not noisy although in the very centre of Madrid.

very helpful staff - supplied electrical adaptor, which we had left at home. Allowed us to leave bags on final day after we had checked out. Fantastic location - right at the heart of the city (great city!)
The shower head needs to be upgraded - had to hold in hand to direct water-stream.

Our experience at Hostal Valencia Madrid was extremely pleasant. We stayed in a quadruple room (4 adults. The room was spacious and enough storage space for our clothes. The bathroom was clean and big as well. The hostal staff were helpful and very friendly. We would recommend this hostal, and if we were in Madrid again would definitely stay there again.

Very attentive and helpful staff. It had a lift, which I needed due to mobility problems I suffer from. It was right in the heart of the city and very close to the Metro and restaurants.
Beds were a little uncomfortable and pillows very hard

Staff is friendly, location is perfect - about 30m to metro Callao, free internet near the reception, aircondition
Rooms are small, walls are thin so you can hear what happens outside
